How Our Practical Magic Website Design Service Works
Initial Sign Up
When you are signing up with us our initial conversation will be on your business and what you want to get found for. If you don't have a domain name already purchased or chosen we can help advise you on the best domain name and how to go about buying this.
Consultation
Once we get the go ahead we will arrange a design consultation to go though the nity gritty details of what you want your website to do, how you want it to look and layout the plans for your website build. We'll ask you some questions about your business so we can get to know you better, if you've seen any websites you like the look of, what pages you want to create, what information you would like on your contact page and more.
We recommend setting aside at least 40 minutes for the consultation and dependent on how many pages we are building for you this could take longer. We want to make sure we understand completely what you want form your website.
During this time we will also work with you to collect content and images for your website so we have everything ready to start working on your website.
We Build It
This is where you let us weave our magic!
Once we have all the information we need from you we will book you in to start on your build. When we start crafting your website we will let you know and give you an idea of how long it will take and when we plan to finish. We can build you a website in as little as 4 days but larger websites will take longer.
SEO Checks
While your website is being built and at the end of the build we will take it through our search engine optimisation test to make sure that we have done the best at optimising your website.
Reveal and Amendments
Let us show you your website and make note of any final changes you require. We know your going to love your new website but we understand there may be small changes that you want us to make so that its perfect.
Training
If you have selected a training add on or as part of your design package, once we have completed your website we will arrange a time to go through how to use DotGO's website editor. Its easy to use but we'd like to help you get started so your can update your website with ease when you want to. Our training session lasts 20-40 minutes and can be done over the phone with screen sharing. Or, if you are local, in the comfort of your own home.
Our training sessions usually take place in the evenings or at the weekend.
Website Completion
When you are happy with your website we'll sign off with you and send you some great information on how to get started with your website.

Fine Tuning & Launch
We accept that not all our designs are perfect and that you may want to change some small things at the end of the build and we offer a widow of opportunity for you to make changes to your website before launch.
